Machning

One of our greatest strengths is our in-house machine shop based in Tipton at the heart of the Black Country. From here we are able to manufacture parts for all presses and auxiliary equipment using a host of lathes, jig millers and some of the largest vertical and horizontal borers available in the India. This gives us the capability to produce 'one offs', as well as the facility to remanufacture existing parts from both drawings and samples. Some recent machining projects include:

1. 1000 tonne press crown refurbish, including weld repairs and in-line boring
2. Large hydraulic press platen re-machining
3. 44 diameter ram and phosphor bronze guide bushes for a hydraulic press
4. Rolling mill gear box casings
